Before you decide to apply…
Here’s what it’s like to work with us!
We don’t just want employees here—want true team members who love what they do and get to share in the success they help achieve for our studio. Get to know us more so you can find out whether you’d be a good fit for our team!
There’s no such thing as a “waxing body.” All bodies are welcome here, always, and everyone who comes through our doors deserves kindness, comfort, and a little hype-up energy.
If a client ever apologizes for her body, we shut that down (in the kindest way, of course) and give her the confidence boost she deserves.
How we practice body positivity:
We love, and I mean LOVE, what we do here, and we want to make this industry a softer, kinder, and more supportive place to work.
That means no drama or cattiness ever. We support each other and work as a team, and we always bring a welcoming energy. We’re also super committed to this work, so we’re not looking for someone treating it as a stepping stone to another job or industry.
We’re a strong, supportive group that’s here for each and every team member, whether someone needs help during a busy shift or just a much-needed laugh between clients.
When you work here, you’ll never feel like you have to “tough it out” alone. We believe that the best work happens when everyone feels happy, supported, and excited to be here.
Think community + independence. We LOVE when team members take initiative and trust their gut on those little decisions, but we won’t leave you hanging if you need clarity, direction, or a helping hand.
Because we value your time and ours, we’ll always be straight up with you about expectations so you know exactly what success looks like.
Because we never want you to feel left in the dark, your entire first week will be totally mapped out! You’ll know where to be, what to wear, what you’re learning, and what to expect each day.
Every new hire joins an in-depth group orientation that covers policies, procedures, and expectations. You’ll also take a personality test so we can better understand how you communicate, what motivates you, and how to make your workdays the best they can be.
Listen—we’re all adults here, so you literally never have to “ask permission” for time off. Need a Friday in sweats? Cool. Hey, go take that vacation to Europe!
Of course, give us a little heads-up so we can plan the schedule, but you won’t get eyerolls or guilt trips for taking care of yourself. We want you to have a life outside of the studio (and yes, expect pics from your vacation).
